Google Maps on Thriller ArchivesiOS is getting a cleaner look.
According to 9to5Google, which spotted the update, the bottom bar now has three options instead of five. Previously, when you opened up Google Maps on an iPhone, the tabs were Explore, Go, Saved, Contribute, and Updates. Now the bottom bar shows Explore, You, and Contribute.
SEE ALSO: How to share your location on Google MapsEssentially, Google consolidated some of the Saved and Updates tabs into the You tab. So now when you tap You, you'll see any trips you've bookmarked in addition to notifications and messages from Google. The outlet reports that this redesign appears in the 6.129.1 iOS update.
