For anyone who grew up playing the Super NES,Malagkit (2025) there are few things more nostalgic than the sight of Mario's adorably pixelated little face bobbing along beneath that charming red cap of his.

There are also few sights more frustration-invoking than that of Big Boo -- the highly irritating, seemingly impossible-to-kill baddie who'd follow you around the ghost house whenever your back was turned.

Well, according to the clip below, it looks like there was an easy way to get rid of Boo the whole time:

Yep -- according to a clip originally shared by Supper Mario Broth on Monday, all we had to do was slide down the stairs and we could have been rid of the bulbous ghoul faster than you can say "Let's a-go".

Tragically we don't have a copy of Super Mario World to hand so can't immediately verify this -- but unless it's a very smooth piece of editing, the gif looks genuine.
